"Good Citizenship" is one of Emera Energy's Values.  To help those in need. To support one another.  To strengthen out team and build our leadership skills.

We are leaders in our local communities who believe in giving back.

Over the last decade, Emera Energy employees have given generously of their time, and have also fundraised for and personally donated more than $250,000 to community organizations.

We focus on helping children and young people, working with organizations such as Ronald McDonald House, Phoenix Youth Programs, the IWK Children's Hospital and Hope Blooms.   We are also enthusiastic supporters of United Way and the Canadian Cancer Society.

Whether it's doing odd jobs in residential facilities, hosting Christmas dinners for Ronald McDonald House families, raising money with pizza sales and 50/50 draws, Emera Energy can be counted on to help.
