In addition to providing third party services, Emera Energy owns Bayside Power; a 260 MW combined cycle gas facility in Saint John, New Brunswick and is responsible for Emera’s 50% joint interest in Bear Swamp; a 600 MW merchant pumped storage facility in Massachusetts. Emera Energy is actively pursuing the acquisition of additional generation facilities as part of our portfolio ownership strategy.
